| VIDEO: Morehead State upsets Louisville Posted: 17 Mar 2011 01:30 PM PDT On paper, 4th seeded Louisville looked like they’d have a cakewalk over 13th seeded Morehead State. But right out of the gate, Morehead State jumped out to a 10-point lead–before Louisville had even scored a point. The Cardinals came storming back at the end of the first half to tie it up and all seemed right with the world. That is, until Cardinals star Preston Knowles turned an ankle and the world got “flip turned upside down” again. Louisville began to feel the pressure and heat of an epic first round catastrophe. Trailing by two points, Morehead State’s Demonte Harper drilled a three with 4.2 seconds left that made Bill Raftery scream “ONIONS” at the top of lungs. The shot gave the Eagles the incredible upset win. And now that Morehead State has moved on, we’d feel remiss if we didn’t show you this screencap from the game. Thus far, she’s our fan of the tourney, but, you know, it’s still early. And, for what it’s worth Rick Pitino, you’ve provided us with an awesome headline for the game. | VIDEO: This is a PSA reminder that everyone gets one from Spider-Man Posted: 17 Mar 2011 12:30 PM PDT “Family Guy” made Spider-Man’s new ethos of “everybody gets one” famous. And, in this video, we see that turned into a real life application when a boyfriend’s squabble with his girlfriend threatens to turn violent but Spider-Man is there to make the save.

| Times Square hacking video was a trailer for ‘Limitless’ Posted: 17 Mar 2011 12:19 PM PDT Remember that AWESOME video where the foreign dude hacked into every video screen in Times Square? And remember how I said it was probably fake? Well, it was. And it was a trailer for some movie called “Limitless.” How do I know? As it turns out, the guy made ANOTHER YouTube video after the first one went what we in the Internet business call “viral.” And in this one, he explains how he created the first video — he did so by ingesting a pill called “NZT,” which just so happens to be the basis for the movie. The lesson as always? At least half of everything fun on the internet is usually fake. |
