so a search on google just makes things more "Gray" and obscure so i thought id ask u guys
ive created a graphic logo.... would a trademark or a copyright be best for this?
i read that if you have a company slogan or a unique company name you should trademark it ...but how about a graphic design logo?
why would someone pick a copyright over a trademark it seems like a trademark is more comprehensive? someone correct me if im wrong please

I considering heading to covent garden, but for me depends on whether we get pre-orders for delivery on Friday. If not then the weather. If its raining, I'll just go to my local store I think. Its inside a shopping center, so wont get wet. :)
hey v66jack, if you check out my link above, i also asked about pre orders and she said they would most likely not be shipping on the friday as couriers delivered iphone 4 too earlier too people (hence it being on a friday no deliveries at weekends which is a bit rubbish!)

I have stuck with Tiger in my G4s, so I can't speak to Leopard's performance.
You should install the maximum possible amount of RAM before doing anything else, but a HDD upgrade will definitely improve performance as well and should make the machine perfectly suitable for general internet browsing and basic image editing/light gaming work and so forth.
Bear in mind that these machines are only going to get older, and G4s can never handle HD video, so while they are perfectly servicable you will want to limit the amount of money you put into upgrades.

This command won't work.
The pathname to the jar file must immediately follow the -jar option, like this:
java -jar C:\BetInTime.jar -Dusername=xxx -Dpassword=xxx -DcCodes=all ServiceSF"
or this:java -Dusername=xxx -Dpassword=xxx -DcCodes=all -jar C:\BetInTime.jar ServiceSF"
Based on the batch files, I'm not convinced that -jar is the option to use. -cp may be better suited, if you're expecting to run the ServiceSF class. Example:
java -cp C:\BetInTime.jar -Dusername=xxx -Dpassword=xxx -DcCodes=all ServiceSF"

hi all,
i will be going to university tomorrow, and shall be living in a hall of residence with other students.
i realise that many student nowadays have wireless capable computers, and i wish to purchase an airport express station to have wireless flexibility in my room. is there any way of putting a password or authentication key on the connection so only i and people that i designate will be able to use it?
any advice much appreciated.

Jennifer Lopez PlayI hadn't bought a physical book in a long time. I always by e-books. They're much more easily searchable than physical books, I can cross-reference with a click on a hyperlink, I don't have to wait or pay for shipped (which to Australia can be more than the cost of the book), and I don't have to find a place to physically store it.
The only issue would be if you need to access the book side-by-side with your work. This isn't a problem for me because I have 2 large screens. If you only have one smallish screen, then this may be an issue. Unless you have an iPad and can view the book on the iPad while you work. ;)

Godfather: Blackhand Edition (the wii version) is really neat... lots of stuff to do, lots of destruction and mayhem... and the wiimote integration is were the game really shines... i never played the original version, but as i understand it, there hass been a good amount added compared to the oringinal xbox version... not to mention over 25 wiimote gestures for executing and intimidating people...
Lots of additional levels in the Wii version that weren't in the original, as well. Definitely buying this next week.

Jennifer Lopez saysI purchased Logic Studio (Pro Logic 9 version) in mid December last year. I'm on a steep learning curve having moved over from Cubase SX3. I was facing the prospect of an upgrade fee to the latest Cubase and buying some other music utilities or jumping ship and paying full price on Logic Studio. Well, I'm happy to say that I'm able to do everything I was doing before using Cubase with Logic Studio plus much more. It's not a 100% clear to me how it compares with the latest Cubase 5, which now integrates many more features than in SX3, but it seems that a lot of Steinberg's sampling stuff (Halion) still has to be bought separately. I'm also really getting to love the Logic Studio interface. I've imported a few of my really complex projects now that included multiple live recorded band audio tracks, overdubbed audio tracks and some step time, real time and score entered MIDI tracks and working on them is much easier. The audio editing features are superior, plus the MIDI stuff sounds much better.
It was mentioned above about purchasing a MIDI interface. I already had one because I was using a JV-1010 synthesiser with Cubase, but now, with Logic Studio, the included synthesisers have sounds that are superior in quality and editing features that leave it for dead, plus you get a fully featured sampler which is just awesome. (I normally don't talk like that but I'm not sure how else to put it, it's freaking awesome.) I've already started building up instruments based on my own recorded samples as I'm interested in composing using sounds sampled from sources other than instruments. I guess you could call it musique concr�te, but I have my own ideas about what it is. Anyway the upshot is that my JV-1010 is taking a back seat and only getting dusted off when I need to check a project that needs exporting from Cubase to Logic Studio.

You can download them again for free.
You can also backup your whole phone on iTunes and transfer your apps and data to a new iPhone.
I really hate how if you have to reformat your computer Apple doesn't tell you that you've purchased an app before :(
Makes it VERY difficult to get all your apps back without purchasing new ones by mistake...
Ever heard of backup? Well the Mac App Store shows all the downloaded apps, so maybe write to Apple.com/feedback with that suggestion.

Then there was another one in the past couple days about saving Farscape. This one mainly resurrected dead threads, although he did put up one legit one which eyelikeart closed, but it's been a problem recently. If anybody does it again, I've got the Vikings primed and ready.:D

The iPhone 4 was a failure at launch. The antenna is broken. It drops Internet connections and calls if held a certain. The glass claiming to be strong is weak sauce and the only good things on the phone are the cameras and screen.*

If you are an iPhone 4 owner, then yes I think you are the only one who feels this way. Or maybe you bought a lemon.

Hit the "Capture Now" button, end your capture with "esc.".
It should ask you to name the clip.
You could always "Import" the "Media" folder of iMovie captures too - I primarily use this when I'm capturing analog video that lacks a timecode that FCX can use.

DaisyDisk seems to give a good indication of where all those missing GBs are going.
Disk Inventory X (http://www.derlien.com/) does this as well, with a nice graphical "treemap" that shows you what kinds of files are clogging up your drive.
