| VIDEO: Minor-league baseball team keeps fans entertained with sumo wrestling Posted: 29 Apr 2011 01:00 PM PDT It’s no secret that minor-league teams struggle to keep their attendance figures at an acceptable number. For that reason, many of them try dumb, and at times, inane stunts to keep the fans entertained. Take for example this clip from a recent Myrtle Beach Pelicans game. Two fans dress up in sumo-like body suits and flop their bodies around the field like idiots. And what do they get in return? Probably a free beer and a hot dog at the team’s next home game. Exciting stuff, I know. At the very least, these two were entertaining. Especially the “ole” one guy pulls at the very beginning of the contest. |

| Woman arrested after buying hooker for 80-year-old dad Posted: 29 Apr 2011 11:00 AM PDT Apparently one Tampa woman’s calendar was off since she spent Easter weekend giving her elderly dad the best Father’s Day gift ever.
 According to Tampa police, 51-year-old Pia Kirchberg offered an undercover officer $20 in exchange for sex with her 80-year-old father Maurice Kirchberg over the holiday. Both father and daughter were arrested for soliciting prostitution. The duo were among eight people arrested in connection with the prostitution sting. Police claim the sting yielded over 60 potential suspects as well. My personal feelings towards prostitution (not for me, but who really cares?) aside, this just seems kind of sad. Why can’t a father and daughter spend this most holy of holidays finding common ground in a way that makes the both of them happy? I mean, we allow families to eat dinner and go to church and whatever. Is there that big of a difference between those things and getting your 80-year-old dad a rimmer from a woman who has made terrible choices in life and will realize that while her nose is in the crack of an octogenarian?
