It’s not often that we get to see actress Maggie Gyllenhaal showing off her assets on the beach.
However the actress revealed her stunning bikini body while on holiday in Hawaii this week with her actor husband Peter Sarsgaard and their five-year-old daughter Ramona.
The 33-year-old hit the beach in a tiny black and blue snakeskin print two-piece ahead of hitting the waves for a surfing lesson.

The actress was on a break with her actor husband Peter Sarsgaard and their daughter Ramona
But before she ventured in to the surf she stretched out for a few warm-up exercises.
The actress did press-ups and other stretches on her surfboard before she and her actor husband pulled on their surfing gear.
And after taking some lessons Maggie appeared to be getting the hang of her board quickly as she rode some of the waves.

Her husband also appeared to be gaining confidence as he practised his surfing skills.
The actress - who is the sister of actor Jake Gyllenhaal - is known for her roles in quirky movies such as Secretary and Donnie Darko.
However she turned her attention to blockbusters in 2008 with a role in The Dark Knight.

Last year she was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for Crazy Heart, and also appeared alongside Emma Thompson in Nanny McPhee And The Big Bang.
She and Peter also recently starred together in a revival of Chekhov’s play Three Sisters at the Classic Theatre Company in New York.

Maggie recently finished filming Hysteria, alongside Jonathan Pryce and Hugh Dancy, an indie film drama set in Victorian London about the invention of the vibrator.
The actress recently told The Guardian, ’I play a firecracker whose father is a doctor who is in the business of curing hysterical women.
’I end up having a sort of unexpected love affair with this guy who works for him, and who by mistake invents the vibrator.’
