antawn jamison cavs.If there's any advantage to paper books, it's that you can take it places anywhere and don't need a computer. I had a job where I took books with me and would read when it was slow.
This is not much of an advantage, esp with iPads and other readers.
All my reading right now is eBooks! Easier to have several books open to cross-reference stuff too.

If it works, then use it as a known-good reference to check the non-working project.
If it doesn't work, then figure out why it works in Xcode 3 but not in 4. It may be an Xcode problem, or it may be a faulty assumption in the project that just happens to work in 3 but not in 4.

You can use almost anything with a tripod for landscapes, and add in AutoPano Pro if you want to stitch. Macro is a different beast- insects or static subjects? The Tamron 90mm SP Di is a great choice as is the Nikon 105mm, consider the Sigma 150mm macro if you need the working distance.

I tend to do static objects mostly but will occasionally take pictures of the odd insects. But to be honest, I'm not looking for lenses for that until next year when I get some more money. I think that currently I'll be looking lens for landscape for now. Will definitely use pano pro in the future. Been looking at things like that for a while now.

From the chart, I'd say that this statement applies to people who owned a Kindle and got the iPad as a 2nd device. Or people who got the iPad and got the cheaper 3rd gen Kindle became available, etc.
I don't think Android tablets are common enough at this time for such a significant number of people already owning more than one.

Hi, I want to put some CD's that I purchased on my iTunes to put on my iPod. The only problem is that I am getting a new laptop soon, my BlackBook is dyeing.)))): Well, so far I have bought all my music on iTunes, but it's so expensive. I bought many CD's like I said, and I'm putting them on iTunes. When I plug the iPod into a new computer, it would ask me if I wanted to transfer my purchases. And everything that I bought would transfer. The songs that I got from other websites wouldn't transfer. But If I import the CD's through iTunes, will it still transfer to the new computer? Or do they have to be bought from iTunes?
1. Go to the nearest store and buy an external hard drive that you connect to your Macintosh. Then set up Time Machine to make backups to that hard drive. (To set it up: Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Time Machine). First, this will give you a backup of everything that is on your Macintosh which will save you lots of trouble should your Macintosh ever die. And second, it lets you transfer _everything_ on your Macintosh onto your new computer.
2. When you buy the new Mac, when you start it the first time, it will ask you whether you want to transfer data from another computer. At that point, you follow the instructions on the screen and tell it that you want to transfer data from a Time Machine backup. You plug in the external drive, and some time later the new computer contains absolutely everything that was on the old computer. Including music.
3. Never, ever rely on an iPod to hold your music. The first place your music belongs is the iTunes library on your computer. The next place is the backup disk. Always assume that music on your iPod is temporary and could disappear any time.

while I also suspect the UE will be the best of the bunch, how long have you used the A Jays? Most higher end headphones have to burn in the drivers, which usually takes several dozen hours, before maximum sound quality is achieved

Sure can. I've done it a few times. Just boot the iMac G4 in Target Disk Mode and then install the OS onto its drive from another PowerPC Mac with a DVD drive.

Yes, you no longer need the page file hack....if you enjoy going back to watching your tabs reload because iOS shut down your browser to provide memory to another app.
Can somebody please tell me that the page file hack still works on 4.2.1.
This things is basically useless to me without it.

if you are a student, waiting to take advantage of a likely free iPod program is a good idea. (maybe this is currently happening)
