R&B singer Sean Kingston was involved in a watercraft accident this past Sunday evening (May 29) in Miami along with another woman and although early reports were somewhat grim, Kingston’s publicist confirmed to other news entities that the crooner’s condition has stabilized. Much to the delight of his celebrity friends who tweeted their support for the 21-year old, the news of his medical upgrade was certainly welcomed.
Sean Kingston, who gained fame for his 2007 smash hit “Beautiful Girls,” was reported to be working on a third album after a mixtape release this past February. Fans of the singer were no doubt concerned about the condition of Kingston and showed overwhelming support for the Miami native – most especially on the fast moving social network Twitter.
“Saying a little prayer for Sean Kingston, I hope he pulls through,” said user iMakeEmBlush. User RandomBullChic added, “Prayers up to Sean Kingston on a speedy and healthy recovery!”
In an empathic moment, user Saida Prosper tweeted, “Ok, Sean kingston was in an accident wit another woman. Why arent prayers goin out to her too? Is she not human?” User MrMikeJay echoed that sentiment with, “Wasn't there someone on the back of the jet ski with Sean Kingston? How SHE doing? Haven't heard a thing...”
The mystery passenger spoke today with website TMZ, giving details surrounding the accident. The injured passenger, identified as Cassandra Sanchez gave an account of the crash saying that Kingston was going "really fast" before the accident.
The website also reported that Serena Williams visited Sean Kingston at Jackson Memorial Hospital and followed up her visit with a supportive tweet. "I am thankful that I have today. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us. I'm gonna make every day the best I can. #loveuSeankingston," said the tennis star.
